Sales Manager for Secure Systems Products & Services


We are looking for a sales manager for our secure systems software products and services. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the market and develop opportunities to grow the business. S/he will:

  • Determine the market size and accordingly plan new market development opportunities
  • Analyze competitors and plan, implement, and monitor a program to increase market share
  • Work with product managers to improve product competitiveness, marketability, and profitability and especially to get better reach into new markets
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; develop field sales action plans
  • Develop forecasts, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions
  • Establish marketing and sales processes
  • Implement sales plans for multiple regions using multiple channels, including resellers, referral programs, direct field sales, and online sales
  • Recruit, train and manage staff by setting organizational and individual goals, and assigning leads. Monitor individual performance and coach employees to increase productivity. Visit sales regions and optimize sales support for each region. Close big deals that require team efforts.

Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years experience in sales management required
  • Experience in international sales and marketing, particularly in Europe preferred
  • Familiarity with the software security business preferred
  • Experience in establishing reseller and referral programs required
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to reanimate current sales staff and to attract additional producers required
  • Willingness to travel and work with a global team of professionals required
  • Proven ability to formulate strategic sales plans, translating them into trackable goals required
  • Experience in developing and justifying sales incentive plans preferred
