Senior Technology Leader for Seacert
We are looking for a senior technology leader with a strong security and operations background to help us design and develop security solutions, and to deploy hosted security services. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting, designing, and developing systems and software to support the operation of Seacert (a Marlin Trust Services Provider). S/he will own the technical aspects of all Seacert-deployed software solutions and lead the activities of a small team of technical staff.
The successful candidate will be part of a team of technically strong peers, a quick starter able to efficiently integrate into a new team, and be self motivated to work productively with little direct supervision.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5-10+ years in developing production-quality software and hands-on experience in leading a complete software development lifecycle
- Experience as Technical Team Lead and Systems Architect
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, mentoring skills
- Multi-tasker, self-starter, customer-oriented, with attention to details, both team player and individual contributor
- Working knowledge of Object-Oriented design/development and software design patterns
- Advanced core Java skills, including multi-threading, networking, JDBC APIs, DOM/SAX APIs, Servlet APIs, reflection, serialization
- Working knowledge of applied security, secret and public key cryptography, RSA, PKI, SSL/TLS, SAML, and related Java APIs and libraries (BouncyCastle a must)
- Conceptual understanding of major networking protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, web applications security
- Development in both Windows and Linux environments
- Domain expertise in DRM recommended
- Experience deploying highly available solutions, using cloud-computing recommended
- Experience with hardware security modules (HSM) recommended
- Experience in Java UI/Swing development recommended
- Working knowledge of C/C++ recommended
