Test Development Engineer
We are looking for a knowledgeable developer who likes to write automated tests and tools. The Developer-in-Test (DIT) will work integrally with the engineering team to ensure timely, quality release of our products.
Responsibilities
- Develop automated functional and performance tests for product features
- Ensure a solid test execution path and code coverage
- Maintain, improve, and expand on existing suites of tests
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues uncovered during testing or in the field
- Write tools as necessary to facilitate testing or emulate hypothetical scenarios
- Deploy tools and write scripts to ensure speedy and quality release cycles
- Execute tests and follow through with found issues
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- 5-10 years experience in test development
- Demonstrable professional programming experience in C/C++ and Python
- Interest in testing and quality aspect of software development
- Experience in developing automated white box tests a plus
- Understanding of software development cycle
- Understanding of web commerce, cryptography, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and Digital Rights Management (DRM) technologies
- Quick learner, self motivated, independent, detail oriented, with strong analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
