On June 11 and 12, 2003, the Court held a claim construction
hearing on a set of 30 terms and phrases from 12
of Intertrust’s claims. The Court also heard Microsoft's
motion for summary judgment that certain Intertrust claims
are invalid due to indefiniteness. On July 3, 2003, the
Court ruled in Intertrust’s favor on all the terms
and phrases and denied Microsoft’s motion for summary
judgment.
