Electronics Licenses Intertrust's Patents for Mobile
Handsets
Sunnyvale, CA, March
28, 2007 – LG Electronics
(LG) and Intertrust Technologies Corporation announced
today that LG has taken a license to Intertrust's
patents for its mobile voice and data products.
LG's license covers its
range of products which implement a variety of DRM
and secure computing technologies that are included
in Intertrust's
broad portfolio of inventions.

Mobile service providers seeking to deploy
services that use DRM and secure computing technologies
will need to obtain a separate service provider's
license from Intertrust.
