Bio Paul Milek, Managing Director, Mooreland Partners - Silicon Valley
Paul is a Managing Director in Mooreland Partners Silicon Valley office. He joined Mooreland in 2007 having over 18 years of experience in investment banking and finance within the communications and digital media technology sectors. Prior to Mooreland, Paul was a Principal with SVB Alliant's Global M&A Group and a Vice President with Broadview International LLC, where he specialized in M&A advisory within the communications technology sector. His transaction experience includes completing mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, private placements and restructurings. Paul began his career in Silicon Valley with KPMG Peat Marwick within the firm’s Information, Communications and Entertainment business where he practiced public accounting. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado with an emphasis in accounting and an MBA from the Anderson School at the UCLA with an emphasis in corporate strategy and finance. Paul is a Certified Public Accountant.
Bio Keleman Papp, Vice President, Mooreland Partners - Silicon Valley
Kelemen joined Mooreland Partners in 2011. He brings over 10 years of experience in technology investment banking and financial services. Prior to Mooreland, Kelemen was a Vice President at Rutberg & Company, where he advised clients in the mobile and digital media sectors on a range of both domestic and cross-border transactions, including M&A, Private Placements, Divestitures, among others. Prior to joining Rutberg, Kelemen spent several years working in product development for FinTech companies. He helped launch both Curian Capital, a managed accounts platform for custom portfolios, and FOLIOfn, an Internet-based trading platform that enables dollar-based investing. Kelemen also helped facilitate the spinout of the NASDAQ by assisting FINRA in the development of the Alternative Display Facility (ADF), an SRO display-only market center. Kelemen holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and a BBA in Information Technology from The College of William & Mary.
