whiteCryption is helping software developers make their applications safe from tampering and reverse engineering. We’re looking for a motivated and focused Sales Engineer based in the Bay Area to help us. This position is for someone with both technical and sales skills, and is responsible for all technical aspects of the sales cycle. While supporting sales will be the primary responsibility, you will have opportunity to collaborate with product management and marketing to help develop technical content and messaging for corporate and field use.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical sales support with occasional travel within North America
  • Support Marketing at field events and tradeshows
  • Manage customer engagements, including requirements gathering, scoping, solution design/delivery, and customer acceptance of deliverables.
  • Seek out new opportunities within install base through proactive engagement
  • Manage evaluations of Code Protection and Key Box
  • Document feature requests and issues
  • Assist with technical marketing content
  • Perform post-sales activity as needed
  • Support whiteCryption partners and resellers
  • Create training content when appropriate

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Strong technical acumen and customer facing communication skills
  • Familiarity with Android and iOS development tools and workflow
  • Understanding of debugging and reverse engineering tool and practice
  • Fluency in Android Java, C, C++, Objective C
  • Practical knowledge of encryption and key management
  • Extra points if you have supported sales into the mobile, security or IoT/embedded development space
  • BSCS or equivalent experience
  • 5+ Years of experience
