Intertrust to Present at the London Zoological Society Event on the Future of Food

Intertrust is proud to announce that we will participate in a symposium on the future of food security and biodiversity, organized by the Zoological Society of London (ZSL). The event will be on October 21 and 22 at the ZSL London HQ in Regents Park. The Future of Food – the Future of Biodiversity conference will focus on the challenge of feeding the additional 2 billion people expected by 2050 in the face of climate change, urbanization, and land degradation while protecting biodiversity. As a major conservation organization, ZSL is bringing together business leaders, academics, conservationists, and representatives of all stages of the food ecosystem to discuss such issues as increasing cooperation between conservationists and food producers, and changing consumer behavior towards consuming healthier, less resource intensive foods. As part of the event, our CEO, Talal Shamoon, will be speaking on October 22nd on the role of technology in managing these complex systems, specifically how IoT and Big Data can help solve the vast problems that face us in this domain. More information on the event can be found here or at our blog posting. We are sponsoring a live Internet stream of this event, which will be available on October 21st and 22nd starting at 9am GMT.
