Talal Shamoon to speak on dynamic data-driven markets and sustainability

Talal Shamoon, Intertrust’s CEO, will be one of the featured speakers for the Nikkei SDGs Festival (website in Japanese). Streaming from Tokyo from May 11 through May 15, the Nikkei SDGs Festival is a virtual event focusing on the intersection of sustainable development goals (SDGs) and environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG). In his May 12 presentation, Shamoon will discuss how 21st century technologies such as IoT, networked big data, and trusted data exchange platforms can be used to create dynamic data-driven markets to support SDGs. Other speakers include Takeshi Kunibe, Vice Chair, Keidanren and Chairman of the Board, Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group; Harumi Kodama, Representative, Japan Representative Office, Asian Development Bank; Satyajit Bose, Associate Professor, Columbia University; and Taro Tanaka, Editor-In-Chief, Nikkei ESG.
